The Lewis County Lady Panthers and Panthers travelled to Lawrenceburg for matchups with the E.O. Coffman Lady Panthers and Panthers on Monday, November 8th. The game was played at David Crockett Elementary School due to construction at E.O. Coffman.

Following the conclusion of the junior varsity games, the Lady Panthers took the court against the Coffman Lady Panthers. The two teams met previously this season during the East Hickman Eagle TipOff Classic. Lewis County came up short in the previous matchup 38-20. The first quarter was a slow-paced period as each team's defense cause problems for their opponent and limited opportunities at the basket. Coffman held a 1-point edge in the first, outscoring the Lady Panthers 6-5 in the quarter as Haylee Carroll had 4 of Lewis County's points. Coffman began to pull out in front in a 12-8 second quarter that saw Klayr Shepherd score 4 and Coffman led 18-13 at the half. After the break, the teams played a back-and-forth period where 5 Lady Panthers scored in the period and Coffman won the third quarter 12-10 and kept the lead 30-23 moving into the fourth. The Lady Panthers struggled to find momentum in the final six minutes of regulation, ultimately falling 39-29 to Coffman. Aryn Shepherd had 8 points, 4 rebounds, and a block for the Lady Panthers in the loss. Aryn Shepherd had 6 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block, Haylee Carroll 6 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal, Addie Osborne 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 blocks, Gabii Ortiz 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals, Jazalyn Conner 2 points, 1 rebound, 2 steals, and an assist, Emery Norris 2 rebounds and a blocked shot, and Stailee Moseley 2 rebounds and an assist.

The final game of the evening featured the Panthers and the Coffman Panthers. The two boys' teams also met in the East Hickman Eagle TipOff Classic, with Coffman taking the 37-21 victory. The game started out at a slower pace than the Panthers are accustomed to, with the Panthers scoring only 5 first quarter points with 4 from Dakota Hull as Coffman took a 7-5 lead after the first six minutes of play. The slow pace continued in the second quarter as Lewis County was held to 8, with Bo Banks and Maddox Tanner each popping a three, but Coffman extended their lead to 20-13 at the half. The third quarter saw the Panthers take advantage of Coffman mistakes, including Coffman scoring 5 consecutive points on the wrong basket and Lewis County got back into the game, trailing by one at 25-24 heading into the final period of regulation. A 10-4 fourth quarter would be enough for Lewis County to take the win 34-29. Dakota Hull led the way for the Panthers with 8 points, 7 rebounds, 6 steals, and 2 assists, Evan Mathis 8 points, 4 rebounds, a block, and an assist, Bo Banks 6 points, a rebound, a steal, and an assist, Jalen Smith 4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks, and an assist, Maddox Tanner 3 points, a rebound, and 2 steals, Drew Ray 3 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks, and an assist, and Kobe Feichtinger 2 assists.

LCMS vs. Linden Vikings

The Lewis County Middle School Lady Panthers and Panthers hosted the Linden Lady Vikings and Vikings on Tuesday, November 9th for varsity matchups.

The Lady Panthers jumped out fast to a 10-5 lead in the first quarter as Ary Shepherd contributed 4 points in the period and the Lady Panthers played tough defense. In the second quarter the Lady Panthers transitioned their way to a 20-point period with Emery Norris dropping 8 in the quarter and the Lady Panthers built a 30-18 lead at the half. The Pace slowed considerably after the half as the teams were limited offensively and the Lady Panthers carried a 36-21 lead into the final six minutes of action. Lewis County would outscore Linden 9-5 in the final quarter to take the win 45-26 at home. Emery Norris led the Lady Panthers with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block, Klayr Shepherd had 8 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists, and 2 blocks, Gabii Ortiz 8 points, 2 rebounds, 4 steals, and an assist, Haylee Carroll 5 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals,1 assist, and a block, Aryn Shepherd 4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, and an assist, Addie Osborne 2 points, 7 rebounds, and an assist, Stailee Moseley 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists, Jazalyn Conner 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals, Jaelin Baugh 1 rebound and a steal, Sophie Stutts a steal, Ella Middleton a rebound, Greer Lewis a rebound and a steal, and Zoey Collins a rebound and a steal.

The Panthers took the floor for the second game of the evening in a rematch against the Vikings one week removed from a big win against Linden. Lewis County steamrolled through the opening quarter, outscoring the visitors 21-3 in the first six minutes of action with Dakota Hull tallying 7 in the quarter. The tempo remained fast in the second quarter as Lewis County again pulled away in the period with a 16-5 total to carry a 37-8 lead in at the half. The third quarter was slower paced, but Lewis County managed to add to their comfortable lead outscoring the Vikings 11-6 in the period with Hull adding 5 more to his total and the Panthers led 48-14 moving into the fourth. Chris Height would score 4 of the teams 11 in the final six minutes as Lewis County cruised to a 59-18 win over the Vikings. Dakota Hull had 14 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals for the Panthers, Drew Ray 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block, Maddox Tanner 8 points, a steal, an assist, and a block, Evan Mathis 6 points, 6 rebounds, and a steal, Jalen Smith 6 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, and 3 blocks, Bo Banks 4 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists, Phenix McDonald 4 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, and a steal, Chris Height 4 points and 2 rebounds, Ben Price 3 points, Carter Stewart 2 points and a rebound, and Kobe Feichtinger an assist.
