LCHS receives the SBE (School-Based Enterprise) Start-Up Grant

Lewis County High School was awarded the School-Based Enterprise (SBE) grant for $15,000.00 to increase enrollment in Work-Based Learning (WBL) courses. Funding is provided through Governor Less’s Future Workforce Initiative, which is aimed at increasing access to CTE, STEM, and Work-Based Learning (WBL) in the classroom to help increase college and career readiness.

Receiving this grant will help eliminate barriers for students who can’t participate in off-campus WBL placements due to transportation, scheduling challenges, special accommodations due to special needs, or other reasons....
