FATHER OF PROSPECTIVE

ADOPTION

Petitioners Dennis Jones and wife Satasha Jones have filed a Petition to allow Petitioner Dennis Jones to adopt minor child T.J.T., born August 7, 2005 to Satasha Nicole Jones, formerly of Hohenwald, Tennessee. The Petition seeks to terminate the parental rights to all persons having parents rights to the minor child, including the unknown biological father. The unknown biological father is hereby given notice of the prospective termination of his parental rights and the adoption of the child. To dispute, the unknown father must respond to the Petition by filing an answer to the Petition with the Clerk of the Dyer County Chancery Court within thirty (30) days of the final day of the publication of this Notice. A copy of his answer must also be served, in accordance with the Tennessee Rules of Civile Procedure, upon the attorney for the Petitioners, Vanedda Prince Webb, Attorney at Law, 118 S. Main, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024. A copy of the Petition may be obtained from the Clerk of the Dyer County Chancery Court. If no answer is filed, the Petitioner will be seeking to terminate his parental rights and adopt the minor child at a hearing scheduled for Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the Dyer County Chancery Court.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS

Case number 2021-PR-59 in the matter of the estate of Joseph Carmon Bell, Jr., deceased.


Notice is hereby given that on the 30th day of November, 2021, Letters of Administration in respect of the estate of Joseph Carmon Bell, Jr., who died on June 30, 2021, were issued to the undersigned by the Lewis County Chancery Court of Lewis County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the clerk of the above-named court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2), otherwise their claims will be forever barred.

(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this Notice to Creditors at least sixty (60) days before the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication; or

(B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the Notice to Creditors if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication as described in (1)(A); or

(2) Twelve (12) months from the decedent’s date of death.

All persons indebted to the above estate must come forward and make proper settlement with the undersigned at once.
