Clayton's resignation was formally announced during Monday night's County Commission meeting. Clayton resigned as the county's Chief Operating Officer in order to accept a position at the Hohenwald Housing Authority as its Executive Director.
Terry Bunch currently holds this position and plans to retire on March 31, 2022, after working at the Housing Authority for 15 years. Clayton will start on the first of January at which point Bunch will step down to Executive Advisor in order to train Clayton.
