Dr. Tina Franks Reid graduated Saturday, December 18, 2021 with her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Reid is the daughter of Joy Franks and Wilburn Franks. Dr. Reid's dissertation is dedicated in memory of her grandmother Annie Berry Holt. She has spent most of her career in public education with the last five years serving as Assistant Principal of Sparkman High School, one of the largest high schools in Alabama. She is starting a new career where she has accepted a position with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers as part of their Learning Center staff which is located in Huntsville, Alabama on Redstone Arsenal.

Dr. Reid and her husband live in Madison, Alabama.
