Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee awards grant to Maury Regional Health Care Foundation

Oncology Nurse Navigator Melissa Collie, BSN, RN, helps in the coordination of care, education, treatment and side effects for patients undergoing cancer treatment at the Maury Regional Cancer Center. Among the resources available that Collie helps patients navigate is the wig bank program offered through the Maury Regional Health Care Foundation, which provides wigs, head wraps and other coverings for cancer patients.

The Maury Regional Health Care Foundation has received a $5,600 grant from the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee designated to the Women's Center Fund, which will assist in providing free mammograms, camisoles, wigs, lymphedema garments and more to those who qualify.
