Michael Anthony joins with his staff and customers as the celebrations continue through the bewitching midnight hour. In some ways New Year's Eve didn't seem to be the time to celebrate the coming of 2022 this year. Certainly it was a great reason to say good riddance to 2021 A number of things being a factor, firstly Covid19 carried on into its third year and didn't seem to be close to ending, in fact outbreaks across the country had risen over the past month. Secondly the weather and thirdly the economy. All, or some of which might have been part of the reason that people really didn't want to celebrate and just stayed curled up in front of the fire and were tucked up in bed before midnight.
