James David Pitts, 55, unexpectedly passed from this earthly world on December 27, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. David was born in Decaturville, on October 24, 1966 to the late James and Norma Jean Pitts.

David made his career as a logging truck driver. When he wasn't traveling the roads, he would enjoy time fishing or camping on the Tennessee River. On May 3, 1985, he married his soul mate, Dreama Russell, and together they raised three wonderful children.
