The Lewis County High School Lady Panthers and Panthers hosted the Lady Hawks and Hawks of Hampshire on Thursday night, December 16th.

The girls’ game began with a close first quarter as the teams matched baskets early and Lewis County got 6 first period points from Mya Siever to end the first quarter trailing Hampshire 11-10. The teams both picked up the defensive intensity in the second quarter as neither team could find a rhythm in a low-scoring eight-minute stretch and the Lady Hawks took a 17-15 lead in at the half.
