Elizabeth G. Monroe, 74, peacefully passed from this earthly world on February 6, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Ms. Monroe was born in Decatur, IL on April 6, 1947, to the late John and Genevieve Linne Hymer.

She spent her life caring for not only her family but everyone around her. She had a combined 44 years of nursing service as an LPN. Being a nurse wasn't her only true calling.
