Highway Commissioner Joyce Holt has proudly represented Lewis County as Moderator during the two day conference for County Government Day which brings together all county officials to allow them to meet with their legislators.

The meeting started Monday, February 28, 2022, and ended the following day where Holt introduced Governor Bill Lee.

Holt serves as the President of the Tennessee County Services Association (TCSA) Board of Directors. The organization "represents each of the three affiliate associations and is responsible for adopting legislative platform each year and directing association activities. Presidents of the three affiliate associations serve in the TCSA by virtue of their position as president," read their website.

She also serves as the President of the Tennessee County Highway Officials Association.

"This was a great honor for Joyce and for Lewis County," said County Commissioner Austin Carroll who was appointed to represent Lewis County Commissioners by the TCSA.
