American Legion Post 127 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 127 recently announced the Lewis County Boys State and Girls State nominees.
Boys/Girls State is a practical week-long experience of how government works in this state and nation. The boys will be on campus at Tennessee Tech and the girls will be on campus at Lipscomb University.
Tennessee is considered to have one of the best programs in the nation and after a two year hiatus, students are able to get this opportunity in person again.
