The Lewis County Lady Panthers took the field at home on Thursday, March 3rd as they hosted the Ethridge Lady Bulldogs.

Kinlee Keltner started the game on the mound for the Lady Panthers and pitched around a leadoff single to pitch a scoreless first inning. Makaela Dodson led off the bottom half of the first drawing a walk and Taya Tiller followed with a single and CJ Tanner would reach on an error to load the bases ahead of a base-clearing double by Keltner. Kabry Adkins and Brailey Carroll each singled, with a run crossing on Carroll’s single, and Jaelin Baugh would drive in two more on a double. The Lady Panthers would take a 6-0 lead into the second inning. Keltner would work around a two-out walk in the second, striking out three. The Lady Panthers would get a single from Brailey Carroll in the home second but leave two stranded. Keltner would face four in the top of the third, allowing one baserunner on an error, and keep the Lady Bulldogs off the board. Baugh started the bottom of the third with a single and Gabii Ortiz walked and scored on a ball hit by Dodson that was misplayed for an error. Tiller stroked a two-run double and Tanner followed with an RBI single. Keltner followed by reaching on an error and Adkins plated two more to make the score 11-0 with no outs in the third. The Lady Panthers would add more, starting with a two-out single from Ortiz to plate two more and a Tiller single to score one. Keltner came up again in the third and brought home 2 with a double that would end the game as the Lady Panthers run-ruled the Lady Bulldogs in an 18-0 shutout.
