Rollover with no injuries

City of Hohenwald Police were called to a rollover crash on West Main Street Monday, March 28, around 2:45 p.m.

A dump truck belonging to Rogers Group located in Perry County at the Tennessee River was hauling a load of sand travelling east when the right wheels of the vehicle left the right shoulder of the roadway in front of Lewis County High School and TCAT-Hohenwald, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side in the deep ditch line.

Hohenwald Police Officers Michael Dunn and Travis Koch worked the accident with Lewis County Sheriff Department personnel assisting with traffic control as school traffic was leaving TCAT and Trees LLC was doing tree maintenance in the area.

The driver was checked by Maury Regional Emergency Medical personnel and released. Hohenwald Fire was also dispatched.

D and D Towing and Recovery of Maury County was called to remove the vehicle. All lanes of traffic were reopened after 5:00 p.m.
