Dempsey Edward Gordon, born April 28, 1939, to the late Demps Goodman and Verlie Floyd, passed away at his home, on April 7, 2022, at the age of 82.

Mr. Dempsey was born and raised in Lewis County and was a member of the Class of 1957. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. On March 12, 1976, he married the love of his life, Glenda Prince, and just last month had celebrated 46 years of marriage. He and his wife were members of the Hohenwald Church of Christ.
