Don’t know if this is one of the winters or not but it was 47 degrees this morning and at noon it is still about 48 degrees. Wish it would just be spring and not have all this cold rainy weather. The trees and flowers are really blooming so maybe won’t be long till it is warmer at night. Then I guess we will complain about the heat when it is hot all day and night.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Terry Anderson, Bethann Bates, Kay Baxter, Carson Bennett, Connie Bonner, L.C. Bowen, Kathleen Carroll, Spencer Clark, Fada Clay, Bailey Cromwell, Buffy Farnsworth, Labri Kendricks, Lyda Mae Hooper, Shirley Howe, Monette King, Colben Ly, Raquel Mallari, Brittany Mash, Linda Mercer, Mike McCann, Jackie McFall, Norene O’Kelly, Betty Odom, Donna Owen, Rocco Pierce, Pam Pullman, Colene Rasbury, Mona Runions, Roy Sharp, Joe Ship, Vickie Skelton, Nell Skelton, Jim and Jan Walker, Diane White, Sharon White, and Annette Williams. Please pray for these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday to James Bradford and Tina Brewer the 27th, to Dameron Mercer, Zander Easley, Branden Morris and Wiley Staggs the 29th. Wishing for these a very happy birthday and many more to celebrate life.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. Those that I know of include Shelly Bee Hendershot, Peggy Jean Cotton McClearen, Dudley H. Phelps, Gary Richard King, Nora Sue (Davis) Hardy, Jimmy Lee Duncan, Robin Lesley Martinez, Mary M. Atchinson England, Ronald Cary Boone, Margie Hinson, and Jerry Dennis Whitehard. Prayers for all these families and any others about which we may not know.

On Friday my daughters, Jeanea and Selina, and my great-granddaughters, Maria and Kaitlynn, traveled to Dickson to attend the funeral of my sister-in-law. We saw many of the cousins and enjoyed being with them although it was a sad occasion, but too many times this is the only occasion other than weddings that we visit with family. We enjoyed stopping at the Fish Camp on the way back home, it was great, and food was wonderful.

Sunday was a great day for me. I had my two daughters and grandson Timothy and his four children and Kaitlynn and Maria with me for church. This was an unexpected blessing and then we had lunch together which we all pitched in and fixed. Then Jesse, Maysi and her two sons came over and the children all hunted eggs together. They all had a great time although it had rained earlier in the day. It was a wonderful day.

I know from pictures on Facebook that many families had egg hunts and meals together. This makes things special when we can be together. It seems that families are beginning to get together more now than a few months ago because of the covid.

Prayers for those in the Ukraine and Russia that are suffering from the effects of the war and all the fighting and families being separated by it. May this soon end and they can get back to a reasonable sense of being.

Hope you have a great day, and your week is blessed with happiness and good health.
