Peggy Jean Cotton McClearen was born in Hohenwald on August 30, 1941, to the late Willie Cotton and Catherine McHaley Warren Cotton. She passed from this life on Tuesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 80.

Peggy was a homemaker most of her life but also helped out with the family business, Swan View Restaurant, for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Wayne McClearen, and a brother, Don Cotton.
