On March 16, 2022, TSBA hosted its Student Congress on Policies in Education (SCOPE) conference, which gives students a voice on public education issues that are currently faced by school boards.

This year's conference was held at Belmont University. Two hundred twenty-two high school students from across the state participated in mock school board sessions where they assumed the roles of school board members, school officials, parents, students, and concerned citizens.
