Anthony Thomas "Tony" Hicks, age 66, of Parsons, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born February 3, 1956 in Trenton, Michigan to the late Earl Hicks and Shirley Nell Mathis Hicks. Mr. Hicks was a retired heavy machine operator and former deputy with the Decatur County Sheriff's Department.
He is survived by one son, Marc Hicks and wife Kelly of Gadsden; three daughters, Angela Pollock and husband Jay of Hohenwald, Kenya Hicks and Angel Tucker, both of Lexington; sister, Shelia Blankenship and husband Scott of Gadsden; brother, Mark Hicks of Perryville. Other survivors include thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hicks were conducted Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the chapel of Oakdale-Decatur County with Bro. Walter Manley officiating.
