The Girl Scouts met Monday afternoon to officially announce their Blessing Box was now open. The Blessing Box was built by James Pitts for the scouts in order to help assist those in need of food.

The Blessing Box has a fitting sign that reads, "Be a Blessing or Receive a Blessing," to encourage community members to give what they can afford to.
