Corporal (E4) Roy C. Burns, E.R. 53-134-099, UNF USAR Standby Reserve Active Status, was inducted on November 6, 1952 and transferred to USAR on November 10, 1954. Burns spent one year in Korea in the Fifth RCT URAL combat team. He spent one year on the 38 paricel, going to Japan for nine days of R & R during that year. He was the father of Carolyn Duncan and grandfather of Brandy Love and Brooke Duncan.
