Mary Katherine "Kat" Roberson was born on April 3, 1935 in Hohenwald to the late Johnny Herman and Roena (Churchwell) Clayton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Melvin "Jenks" Roberson; her brother Jerry (Barbara) Clayton; sister Nina (Claude) Carroll; grandson Shawn Daniel Branch; and nephew Anthony Carroll.
