Natchez Trace Wilderness Preserve Bass Tournament

 


Natchez Trace Wilderness Preserve held a bass tournament at Chief Creek Lake on May 14, 2022. There were a total of 31 boats, 59 anglers and 71 fish caught totaling 81.82 pounds.

Anglers in the top 10 from Lewis County were: Matt Carroll and Miles Staggs, first, catching five fish weighing 11.1 pounds; Danny and Kane Dillon, sixth, catching five fish weighing 4.42 pounds; and Caleb Moore and Kegan Clayton, tenth, catching four fish weighing 3.20 pounds.

This tournament was the last TVBA event for 2022 due to maintenance and repairs in the lake area. There are no further TVBA events planned...
