October 7, 1948 - June 16, 2022

Patricia Faye Smith, 73, of Hohenwald peacefully passed into an eternity with Jesus on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her home following a valiant battle with cancer. She was born October 7, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Dave Robert Mason and Letha Colene Tripp Mason Adcock. She was a 1967 graduate of Wayne County High School in Waynesboro.

Patricia was a loving and joyful woman who devoted her life to Jesus and her family. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed gardening, genealogy, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She was a former employee of Genesco/Laredo Code West.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Mason; and step-father, Houston Adcock.

Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 54 years, Joe Smith, Sr .; son and daughter-in-law, Joe Jr. and Sandi Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Gary Nash; grandchildren, J. C. Smith, Jennie (Smith) Burns, Adam Smith, and Jesse Nash; several great-grandchildren; and siblings Dave Mason and Susan (Mason) Jackson.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 18, 2022 at McDonald Funeral Home. A special eulogy was given by her daughter Crystal Nash. Internment was at Swiss Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations my be made in memory of Patricia to Lewis County Public Library and Archives, 15 Kyle Avenue, Hohenwald, TN 38462.
