May 6, 1951 - June 24, 2022

Donna Faye (Garrison) Owen, a lifelong resident of Hohenwald, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the age of 71. Donna was born on May 6, 1951, to Henry Garrison and Verna (James) Garrison, here in Hohenwald.

She graduated from Lewis County High School and married the love of her life, Billy Owen. Donna was a bookkeeper until her retirement at Hohenwald Housing Authority. Donna was a wonderful and loving mother, but she was an even better grandmother. She never missed anything her grandchildren were involved in. Above all, Donna was a child of God. She and Billy were dedicated members of Kimmins church of Christ.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her sons, Jonathan (Shelley) Owen and Jeff Owen, all of Hohenwald; one brother, Onis Garrison of Linden; grandchildren, Kenzie (Matt) McClain, Cody (Allie) Owen, Will Owen, Mason Owen, and Sydney Owen; and also three great-grandchildren.

Her parents and several siblings preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held on Monday, June 27, in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Clayton officiating. Burial followed in the Palestine Cemetery.
