Bernice Faye Kilpatrick of Hohenwald passed from this life on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the age of 82. Faye was born in Hohenwald to Sid and Minnie Quillen on January 2, 1940. She was a clerk at the pharmacy and Dollar Store here in town for many years.

Faye leaves behind her husband, Gene Kilpatrick of Hohenwald; sons, Gregory (Karen) Kilpatrick of Pensacola, Florida, and Corey (Jennifer) Kilpatrick of Cane Ridge, Tennessee; granddaughters, Kristi (Tyler) Mitchell of Spanish Fort, Alabama, Kaelyn Kilpatrick and Breanne Kilpatrick of Cane Ridge; also her siblings, Leamon (Margie) Quillen of Waynesboro, Modene (William) Dixon of Waynesboro, and Ginnice Holt of Toledo, Ohio. She also leaves behind special friends, Mia Hinson, Chasity Tiller, and Lauren Tiller.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Ruby Talley, Marie Hensley Crowell, Veda Qualls, Shirley Thompson, Dorothy Tanner, Sue Hensley, Author Lee Quillen, Thomas Quillen, and Evelyn Hensley.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, July 16, in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens.
