Lewis County Government Now Hiring COO

Lewis County Government is currently accepting applications for the position of “Chief Operating Officer”.

The duties of the COO are very broad and complex, and includes performing various tasks related to the role of being a finance officer, human resource manager, assistant to the County Mayor, secretary to the County Commission, litter grant supervisor, IT specialist and economic development coordinator.

Application packets are available in the Solid Waste Office at the old Lewis County Courthouse (110 North Park – Room 106). Included will be a job description and required qualifications, along with a list of benefits.

The annual salary will range from $46,000-$56,000, dependent upon one’s education, experience and skill level.

To be considered, an application and a detailed resume must be turned back in to the Solid Waste Office by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022.
