We had another week of very hot days and pop-up thundershowers around the area. Sometimes there was no rain and others it was scattered around different areas. We are grateful for any rain we get because we have had a very dry summer. When it rains it makes the woodland and other areas look so much better because it washes all the dirt off the vegetation and also helps to clean the air. The thunderstorm that popped up on Sunday afternoon also brought some wind with it for there was branches and limbs all over the place after it was over and it rained so hard the creek was muddy and up some....
