The Lewis County Middle School golf team traveled to Lobelville to the Buffalo River Country Club for matches with Lobelville, Linden, Wayne County, and Lakeview on Wednesday, August 17th.

In boys' play it was the Wayne County boys that finished first on the afternoon with a team score of 63, Lewis County was two strokes back at 65, good enough for second. Linden Middle finished the day in third with a 66, Lobelville was fourth at 81, and Lakeview fifth with a 101. Bo Banks carded the low score for Lewis County with a 20, River Carroll had a 22, Nolan Whitehead 23, Ryder Ward 31, and Blayne Pinckley 33.

On the girls' side it was Lewis County that finished first with a 55, Linden was a stroke behind in second with a 56, Lobelville finished third with a 60, and Lakeview fourth with a 67. Kayclyn Williams was low scorer for Lewis County with a 26, Linley Harris had a 29, and Anna Kate Jones finished with a 34.
