The Lewis County High School Panthers returned home to face their first Region5-AA opponent of the season, the East Hickman Eagles, on Friday night, September 2nd.
The Panthers drove the ball down the field on the opening possession but a turnover inside the Eagle 10-yard line gave the Eagles possession.
The Panther offense would find its stride later in the first quarter and Brycen McDonald connected with Dyer Barnes on a 16-yard touchdown strike. Timothy Brown connected on the point after attempt as the Panthers took an 8-0 lead in the first.
