The annual 4-H Chick Chain took place on Monday, August 29, 2022. Despite the weather, there was a very successful turn out. There were 56 chickens shown at the auction and lots of children went home with less chickens and money in their pocket from the sell.

First place went to Aiden Stranger, second place was Mikayla Pelto, and third place was Jacob Brandon. Fourth place went to Drew Fellers.

Lewis County Soil Conservation sponsored the event as well as Tractor Supply. Auctioneer Allison Tanner helped the students sell their chickens.
