Ted (Teddy) Wayne Hankins, Jr. of Waynesboro, was born February 16, 1971 in Hohenwald, the son of the late Ted Wayne Hankins and Patricia Murphy. He was united in marriage to the former Marcie Nicole Hooper on November 16, 2006.

Mr. Hankins was a construction worker with Southern Land Company and had worked with the Wayne County Highway Department. He departed this life on Friday, September 23, 2022 in Waynesboro, at the age of 51 years, 7 months, 7 days.
