The fourth annual Jonesy’s Toy Ride has been rescheduled to Saturday, December 3. The event is sponsored by the Lewis County Elks.

The event starts at 10:00 a.m. at Hohenwald Billiards with kickstands up at 11:00 sharp.

All monies collected goes to buy toys and special gifts for the kids of families who don’t have the need to purchase nice presents. “Money is counted at the end of the day after the ride, which also includes an auction, and a chili cook off and it is then distributed to volunteers for them to go to local stores to purchase toys and gifts for local kids,’’ said Danny Ogg, one of the main organizers of the event. Donations may also be made at Citizens Bank.
