The Lewis County Panthers 3rd Grade TVBA team traveled to Lawrenceburg for games against the Muscle Shoals (AL) Trojans and the Lawrence County Gold at Lawrence County High School.

The Muscle Shoals Trojans, one of the top teams in the 3rd Grade Boys division, jumped out in front of the Panthers early in the opening game. The Trojans scored the first 15 points of the game before a Lewis County basket from Cazden Lomax put the Panthers on the board. Muscle Shoals would stretch out to a big 26-2 lead by halftime. The second half saw more of the same as the Panthers struggled to keep up with the Trojan pace as Muscle Shoals ran away with a 45-7 win. Carter Creasy finished the game with 4 points for the Panthers, Cazden Lomax had 2, and Cash Creasy 1 point.

The Panthers rebounded in their second game of the day as they squared off with the Lawrence County Gold. The Panthers were able to control the pace in the first half of the game and pulled out to a 14-4 halftime lead. Lawrence County started the second half on a 4-0 run, but Lewis County countered and maintained the lead throughout the remainder of the game and took the victory 20-10. Carter Creasy led the Panthers with 9 points, Cazden Lomax had 4, Cash Creasy 3,and Kendall Mathis and Landon Everson each had 2 points in the win.

The Lewis County Panthers 4th Grade TVBA team traveled to South Lawrence Elementary School in Loretto for Tennessee Valley Basketball Association play against the Florence (AL) Central Wildcats and the Lawrence County Gold.

After falling behind early to the Wildcats, the Panthers used a 16-2 run to pull out in front and secured an 18-6 lead as the game reached halftime. Central would tighten things up midway through the second half, but the Panthers would continue to control the lead and the clock as they secured the win in their first game of the day with a 29-19 final. Kanon McDonald led the Panthers with 10 points, Kayden O'Neal added 9 points, Cooper Johnston 4, and Haven Ray, Michael Adkins, and Hunter Carroll each had 2.

The Panthers and the Lawrence County Gold exchanged the lead four times over the opening six minutes of action, but Lewis County began to pull out in front and held the lead for the remainder of the first half and were up 19-11 at the halftime break. Lewis County built on that lead during the second half as Lawrence County was never able to overcome the deficit and the Panthers rolled to a 33-17 win. Kanon McDonald finished with 15 points in the win, Haven Ray added 9 points, Kayden O'Neal 4, and Cooper Johnston 3 points.

The 3rd Grade Boys TVBA Panthers traveled to Florence, Alabama and Rogers High School for TVBA action on Saturday, January 14th. The Panthers faced off with the 3rd Grade Rogers (AL) Pirates and the Lauderdale County (AL) Tigers.

In the first game of the day the Piratesjumped on the Panthers early in the first half. Rogers would keep the pressure on the Panthers and held a 6-2 lead at halftime. The Pirates started the second half of the game on a 9-0 run and the Panthers were not able to make up any ground down the stretch. Rogers took the win 19-9 over Lewis County. Cash Creasy finished with 7 points and Cazden Lomax added 2 points.

The Panthers hoped to bounce back in their second game of the morning against the Lauderdale County (AL) Tigers. The Panthers fell behind early 8-6 but rode an 8-0 lead to close out the first half with a 14-8 lead. The Tigers would push back into the game midway through the second half, cutting the Panther lead to five. But the Panthers would fend off Lauderdale County and hold on for a 22-18 win. Cash Creasy led the Panthers with 11 points in the win, Carter Creasy, Camden Greene, and Cazden Lomax each had 3 points, and Kendel Mathis had 2 points.

The Lewis County Lady Panthers 4th Grade Tennessee Valley Basketball Association team traveled to Waynesboro for TVBA action against the Muscle Shoals (AL) Lady Trojans and the Wilson (AL) Lady Warriors.

The Lady Panthers matched up with the Muscle Shoals Lady Trojans in their first game of the day. It was the Lady Trojans that took the lead early in the first half and built a ten-point lead late in the period. Lewis County would cut into the lead before the break and Muscle Shoals held a 15-6 lead at halftime. The Lady Trojans would continue to pull away in the second half, limiting the Lady Panthers to only five points and handing Lewis County a 35-11 loss. Jazlynn Baugh finished with 6 points in the loss, Delani Hull and Briley Dodson each had 2, and Jacelyn Anthony had 1 point.

The Lady Panthers took the floor against the Wilson Lady Warriors in their second game of the day. Lewis County was able to control the tempo of the have while holding the Lady Warriors to only four points and took a 13-4 lead in at the halftime break. The second half started with the teams exchanging buckets, but the Lewis County defense would take over, shutting out the Lady Warriors for the final eight minutes of action as they pulled away to a 22-8 win. Jacelyn Anthony and Jayda Baugh led the Lady Panthers with 6 points each, Delani Hull and Jazlynn Baugh each had 4 points, and Addisen Staggs had 2 points.

The Lewis County Panthers 4th grade TVBA team travelled to Florence, Alabama on Saturday, January 14th for games at Rogers High School. The Panthers faced the Muscle Shoals (AL) Trojans and the BGC Elite.

The 4th Grade team from Muscle Shoals and the Panthers both came into the game undefeated in Tennessee Valley Basketball Association play, and the two teams played even through the opening five minutes of action with the game tied 8-8. Muscle Shoals began to pull out in front over the final seven minutes of the half and took a 21-13 lead at halftime. Foul trouble plagued the Panthers in the second half and the Trojans took advantage at the freethrow line, pulling away down the stretch and taking a 48-25 win. Kanon McDonald led the Panthers in the loss with 11 points, Haven Ray finished with 7, Kayden O'Neal added 5, and Dominick James 2.

Lewis County would rebound in the second game of the day against BCS Elite. BCS Elite would score the first five points of the game, but Lewis County would counter with a six-point run to take the lead 6-5. The teams would exchange the lead four times over the final six minutes of the first half before Lewis County took a 15-13 lead at the half. Lewis County took a seven-point lead early in the second half, but BCS Elite would fight back and claim the lead at 24-22. Lewis County would close out the game on an 8-0 run to take the win 30-24over BCS Elite. Kanon McDonald led the Panthers with 13 points in the win, Haven Ray had 8, Dominick James 5, Kayden O'Neal 3, and Cooper Johnston 1.

The Lewis County Panthers 4th Grade TVBA team traveled to South Lawrence Elementary School in Loretto for TVBA action with games against the Lawrence County (TN) Purple squad and the Collinwood Trojans.

Lawrence County jumped out in front on a quick 4-0 run and was able to maintain a lead throughout the first half of play as the Panthers cut the lead to three multiple times, but the Lawrence County team held an 18-11 lead as the game reached halftime. Down nine midway through the second half, the Panthers began to fight their way back into the game and took the lead on a Kayden O'neal basket that made it a 30-29 game. But, Lawrence County would hit key free throws late and downed the Panthers 35-34. Haven Ray and Dominick James each had 12 points for Lewis County, and Kanon McDonald and Kayden O'Neal added 5 points each.

The Panthers faced the Collinwood Trojans in the second game of the day. The Panthers sprinted out in front of the Trojans early as Kanon McDonald (5) and Haven Ray (4) scored the first nine points of the game. Lewis County would shut out the Trojans in a fast-paced first half and took a big 19-0 lead in at halftime. Collinwood would get on the board at the start of the second half with a pair of free throws, but the Panthers continued to open up a huge lead in the second half of the game. Lewis County would pull away until the final buzzer on the way to a 47-8 win over the Trojans. Kanon McDonald led the Panthers in the win with 15 points, Haven Ray added 8, Michael Adkins 7, Dominick James 6, Cooper Johnston 4, Brantlee Tripp 3, and Hunter Carroll and Kayden O'neal 2 points each.

The Lewis County Lady Panthers 4th Grade TVBA team traveled to Crockett Elementary School in Lawrenceburg for TVBA games against the Central (Florence, AL) Lady Wildcats and the Deshler (AL) Lady Tigers.

The Lady Panthers opened play against the Central Lady Wildcats , and Jayda Baugh dropped six points early as Lewis County kept the Lady Wildcats off the board. Lewis County would shut out Central over the entire first half while taking a 19-0 halftime lead. In the second half the pace would slow down and the Lady panthers would add to their lead. Central would finally get on the board late in the second half, but the huge Lewis County lead was just too much. The Lady Panthers would take a 27-3 win in the first game of the day. Jayda Baugh finished with 13 points to lead the Lady Panthers in the win, Addisen Staggs added 6 points, and Jazlynn Baugh, Delani Hull, Landree White, and Payton Weatherly each had 2 points.

The Deshler Lady Tigers limited opportunities for the Lady Panthers in the second game. The Deshler defense was strong and shut out Lewis County for the entire first half of the game while building a 12-0 lead as the game reached the halftime break. Deshler led 13-0 before a Jayda Baugh basket put Lewis County on the board. The Lady Panthers would outscore the Lady Tigers 7-5 down the stretch, but the first half deficit was too much to come back from as the Lady panthers fell to Deshler 18-9. Jayda Baugh led Lewis County in the loss with 7 points, and Briley Dodson added 2 points.

The Lewis County Panthers 3rd Grade TVBA team traveled to Loretto and South Lawrence Elementary School on Saturday, January 21st, for a pair of TVBA games against the 3rd Grade Richland Raiders and the 3rd Grade Deshler (AL) Tigers.

The Panthers took an early lead in the first game of the day against the Richland Raiders, limiting the Raiders to very few opportunities on the offensive end of the floor while getting to the rim and knocking down shots. Lewis County built a big 24-4 lead by halftime. The Panthers continued to control the game in the second half despite Richland having more success on offense. In a span that covered the late first half and early second half the Panthers went on a 22-point run to take control of the game. Lewis County would outscore the Raiders 15-8 in the second half and took the win in a 39-12 final. Carter Creasy led the Panthers with 15 points in the win, Kendel Mathis added 8 points, Cazden Lomax and Cash Creasy each had 5, and A.J. Davis had 2 points.

The Panthers stayed hot as they started their second game of the day against the Deshler Tigers. The game was tight early, but the Panthers went on a 5-0 run to close out the first half and took an 18-10 lead in at the half. The Panther run continued out of the break as Lewis County scored the first six points of the second half to go up 24-10. Deshler made a late run after the Panthers took a 16-point lead late in the second half but came up short as the Panthers defeated the Tigers 31-22. Cash Creasy led the Panthers with 12 points, Carter Creasy had 9 points, Kendel Mathis 5 points, Cazden Lomax 3 points, and Camden Greene 2 points.
