The Lewis County Middle School Lady Panthers opened their 2023 softball season when they traveled to Waynesboro on Tuesday, February 28th to play the Wayne County Lady Wildcats.

Taya Tiller led the gameoff with a walk and wasnfollowed by a run-scoring double by Makaela Dodson, and Dodson would work her way around to score on a Julie Roden fielder's choice as the Lady Panthers jumped out to a 2-0 lead.
