Lewis County students begin TCAP testing this week and State Senator Dr. Joey Hensley met with the third grade faculty last Friday, April 14, 2023 to discuss upcoming legislation that bases a pass/fail on the state test. Third grade students who score less than 50 percent in Reading proficiency will have options to be retested, attend summer camp at school and tutoring after school next year to help make appropriate gains or the student may be retained and repeat third grade.
