Lewis County Retired Teachers Group Elects New Officers

 

Due to the pandemic, the Lewis County Retired Teachers group had not met in four years. However, the weekend brought them back together for lunch, good company, a meeting with the new Director of Schools Dr. Tracy McAbee, and officer elections. After several years of serving the group, President Michael King and Secretary-Treasurer June Defoe stepped down to allow newly elected officers, President Paula Dyer, and Secretary-Treasurer Deborah Walker, to take the positions. “I wish them well as they lead the group in the future,” said Mr. King.
