Superhero Retires from LCES

Committing to 30 years of anything is a true feat in today’s world. But that’s exactly what Lea Ann Anderson did. For thirty years, she committed herself to not just one job, but many. As an elementary school teacher, she was a nurse, a judge, a friend, a mentor, maid, good listener, mediator, a guide, collaborator, role model, public speaker, organizer, researcher, and so much more. The best educators take on a multitude of roles, but superhero seems most fitting.
