After Lewis County went down without a run in the opening inning Brayden Whitlow took the mound for the start. Whitlow put the first two batters on with a hit by pitch and opened the gates for an eight-run start as the Cougars led 8-0 after one. Lincoln Brewer reached to start the Panther second and scored on a groundout by Hayden Jackson to make it 8-1., but Dickson County would get the run back in the bottom half to take a 9-1 lead. After the Panthers went down in the third, Braylon Bean came on to pitch for Lewis County and gave up a pair of hits and a pair of runs and Dickson County too...
