Wreck Requires Double Life-Flight

On July 29th, a call came over the scanner regarding a single vehicle accident at the 700 block of Rockhouse Road. Upon arrival on the scene, First Responders called for a helicopter for a seven year old child ejected from the vehicle with injuries. Shortly after, they requested a second helicopter for the driver of the vehicle. Both victims suffered injuries that required emergency surgery. According to the driver, an animal ran across the road in front of the car. When he swerved to miss it, he lost control, and the vehicle flipped multiple times, ejecting them both.
