This photo, sent in by Landfill Director Bradley Loveless, shows the amount of cardboard collected by a City of Hohenwald Commercial Garbage Truck in just one load, much of it cardboard that cannot be separated. Proposed is that Lewis County Landfill would make use of scales to also charge the City for trash by the pound. New signage has been ordered for the Transfer Station to help customers identify recycling options as a push to further reduce the amount of garbage produced in Lewis County continues.
