Cardboard, used motor oil, plastics, metal, tires, batteries, computers, electronics, and paper are among items Lewis County residents can keep out of a trailer that costs taxpayers money every week to be hauled to Lewisburg. When Lewisburg's landfill becomes full, the fate of local trash becomes an even greater burden. Recycling is fast becoming the only viable solution.
