On January 24,2020 Mrs. Doris Marie Sublett Dorning, age 93, peacefully passed away in Springhill with her loved ones by her side.
She was born in Limestone, Alabama on July 20, 1926 to the late William "Bill" and Georgia (Greene) Sublett.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Dorning was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Richard Dorning, and two brothers, William Sublett and Wayne Sublett.
Doris and Richard were very active members of Lewis County. They owned several businesses including a grocery store, Dorning Realty, a large egg production business, and cattle and soybean farming....
