Lewis County Schools provide over 9,000 meals per week

Lewis County Schools are closed for the remainder of the school year, but educating and feeding the children is not.

During this time dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, many families may struggle to offer additional food for their children.

Food Service Director Debbie Willis, cafeteria workers, school resource officers, aides and volunteers are hard at work providing critical meals to Lewis County children.

An average of over 9,000 meals per week have been prepared and distributed to children of the community ages 18 and under.
