Notice to Bid: Automatic Fueling System for Fueling School Vehicles

Lewis County Board of Education will accept bids on an automatic fueling system for fueling school vehicles. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. CST, July 9th, 2020, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Only original bids will be accepted; no facsimile bids or electronic bids will be considered. Bids should be addressed to the Lewis County Board of Education, 206 South Court Street, Hohenwald, TN 38462. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked with the following on the outside of the envelope “FUEL BID.” Bids submitted by courier service must be marked on the outside of the envelope as well.
This system must use an optical card or chip reader, must be accessible 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and must be well lighted. This fueling system must supply three grades of gasoline plus diesel fuel. The billing system must provide dates of each fueling along with time of day, product, driver, vehicle, odometer reading, gallons and price. State and Federal (tax exempt). Bid will be awarded for the period for the period August 1, 2020 through August 1, 2021. Bids will be based on the following format: Profit margin above rack price delivered to Hohenwald, TN with rack prices updates each Monday. Vendor must supply on a monthly basis documentation of pull price reflected in billing.
