Law inforcement, emergency and rescue personnel were dispatched at 5:23 a.m. Friday, September 4, to a motor vehicle accident at 830 Piney Creek Road.

They found a Toyota Corolla registered to Tamara Herrington of Marshall, Illinois.

After a search of the crash scene, Lewis County Fire and Rescue were unable to locate a driver in the vehicle or down the deep ravine below the wreckage.

Also responding were Lewis County Sheriff Deputies Dustin Carroll and Nick Reeves, Maury Regional Emergency Medical and Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Brandon Dixon.
