Lewis County at 787 COVID-19 Cases

Lewis County continues to see a spike in Covid-19 cases. Over the last seven days, the average positive percentage was 16.9 percent.

As of Tuesday, the county has 787 positive cases, 14 deaths, 23 hospitalized, 686 inactive/recovered, and 89 active cases.

Over the past seven days, Lewis County averaged 42.29 tests per day.

Lewis County Schools Director Benny Pace stated, “Overall our Covid numbers have decreased, but with the impending weather on Monday and cold weather and wet roads on Tuesday, I made the decision to close schools. This also gave us extra days out of the buildings in h...
