James Franklin "Jim" Newport, age 86, La Cygne, Kansas passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021.

He was born in Carrollton, Missouri on September 23, 1934, the son of Richard and Nellie Marie Trusty Newport.

Jim worked as a farmer, dairyman and boilermaker as a member of the Boilermakers Union Local #83. He was united in marriage to Joann DeBolt on December 6, 1953. Jim lived for and loved all his family very much.
