Helen Irene Harden passed away from this earthly world on November 19, 2021, at her home in Hohenwald. She was born on April 24, 1930, in Hohenwald to the late Warren Smith Carroll and Lacey Bell (Stokes) Carroll.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Harden; son, Norman Anthony Harden; daughter, Peggy Harden; nine siblings, and three half-siblings.
Ms. Harden is survived by her daughter, Angie (Kent) Tankersly of Pulaski; sister, Joyce Hudson of Hohenwald; grandson, Joel (Abby) Gray; granddaughter, Vicki Peery; step-grandson, Kasey Tankersly; and two great-grandchildren, Brilynn and Gunner Gray.
Visitation with Ms. Harden's family was from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday night at McDonald Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at McDonald Funeral Home. Rex Reed officiated. Burial followed in Palestine Cemetery.
