James Matthew Jones passed peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family on January 4, 2022. Matthew, as most knew him, was born in Columbia on January 29, 2015, to Jonathan and Michelle (Muesegaes) Jones. He enjoyed swimming on warm days and playing with his family and friends. Matthew had a smile that could brighten anyone's day.

Along with his parents, Matthew is survived by his sister, Riley Jones; brother, Caleb Jones; and grandparents, Ricky and Ann Jones and James and Charlotte Muesegaes.
